To meet the needs of the quickly growing Weymouth community and maintain the available budget, the Weymouth High School program was reconfigured and consolidated into a two-building campus.
The project included design of a new stadium complex and track. The stadium features seating for 2,000, athletic lighting, and all-weather track and synthetic playing surface. Also added were new bleachers with a press box, a concession building with restrooms, storage and warming kitchens. The site now provides parking for 800-vehicles and attendant fields for baseball, softball, tennis and recreational use. New interior athletic spaces include weight training and aerobics areas, multi-purpose activity court, lockers and other support spaces. The project was completed in 2004.
