Newton Courthouse

This District Courthouse project included a full architectural and interior design services resulting in a 16,000 SF renovation and restoration with a 4,000 SF addition. Located in West Newton Village, this historically sensitive project shares an active street frontage with the Newton Police Department headquarters facility. The plaza shared between the two facilities was fully renovated as part of this design effort, as well as creation of a new entry vestibule, judge’s lobby and chambers, clerk magistrate, and probation department space. Two district courtrooms were fully renovated, refurbished, and made accessible. The project was completed in 2004.
