Jim’s love of team sports led him to the field of architecture because of its multidisciplinary and collaborative nature. As a Principal, Jim is a leader and facilitator. His role brings him together with a variety of people, organizations, institutions, and communities. He approaches his work with tremendous energy and passion. For every project, Jim takes the time to understand the client’s perspective and expectations. He encourages equal and inclusive participation knowing that each person brings skills, expertise and valuable perspective to the table. Clients value his focus on collaboration and willingness to do “whatever it takes” to achieve project success. Jim’s ultimate goal is to foster design that is thoughtful, innovative and sustainable.
