DRA’s efforts at Bentley University occurred over a 10-year period. During this period, Bentley was transformed from a commuter to a residential college. DRA completed campus master plans which covered both the upper and lower campuses and included programming and selection of sites for all administrative, student activities, conferencing, graduate programs, performing arts, food service, and undergraduate housing needs.

As a result of DRA’s campus master plan, the 30-acre lower-campus master plan included a pedestrian link of the two Bentley campuses involving a pedestrian bridge, and a new 195-student housing complex, Orchard North and South. Each of the thirty-nine apartments accommodates five students.
