Hayden Fire Station

Several different schematic design solutions were developed to satisfy space needs and upgrade the existing 1968 facility. The selected alternative includes a 6,818 SF addition with three vehicle bays and several service rooms. The brick exterior of the new construction blends with the original building. Sky lighting and more energy efficient systems are incorporated throughout. The
facility houses adequate training and vehicle storage space and men’s and women’s locker facilities. The project was approved at a November 2009 referendum, and completed in 2011.
